All day

This event is supported by the State Library of Ohio with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet? What if it was in a different vase? Worthy of Flowers explores how Cowan responded to the floral trends of the 1920s. Trace Cowan’s path through fads, awards, lawsuits, and marketing ploys.
A special exhibit of restored flower figurines from the collection explains the care and history of these objects. Their restoration is thanks to a grant through the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services LSTA grant awarded by the State Library of Ohio.
